Curriculum Vitae
Felipe Dal-Pizzol research efforts are focused on translational research in sepsis, mainly on the mechanisms of brain dysfunction, oxidative stress and mitochondrial dysfunction.
Dr. Dal-Pizzol has authored around 100 peer-reviewed publications in the sepsis field. He has been awarded by the National Academy of Sciences from Brazil as an Affiliate Member (category exclusive for under 40 years-old researchers), and a Research Fellow level 1A (the highest level) from the Brazilian Ministry of Science. Besides it scientific career he is board certified in Respiratory Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine.
During 2012 he was research associate in University College London in Professor Mervyn Singer’s Lab.
